IVANN

Ivann (born May 6, 2002) discovered the world of music at the age of 9 through DJing. Later, as a self-taught artist, he learned to produce his own music using the software FL Studio, which allowed him to get started and become a producer at just 13 years old. His musical inspiration comes from 2000s music and artists from Mauritius, drawing on Urban, Afrobeat, and Dancehall styles.

He began his journey by making Dancehall and Moombahton music. Driven by the desire to create his own style that would represent both himself and his culture, he drew inspiration from a blend of “Tarraxo” and “Sega.” This is how Ivann managed to create original sounds and, as a result, stand out. In February 2021, Ivann performed his first showcase at the “Safari Bar” in Mauritius. However, the performance that left a lasting impression on him was in Réunion with the group “La Révolution.” For that event, 2,500 people were in attendance. Since then, he has continued to perform showcases across Europe.

His goals are multiple. First, he wants to share his music in order to introduce his style, his culture, and to highlight the music of his country. He would also like to help young artists from his country, guide them, and give them the keys to the music world.
